Where is the Toy Drive located?

 The Toy Drive to benefit Toys for Tots, is located at The Camp Store at South Carlsbad State Beach. Additional drop off locations include the Carlsbad Safety Center (Police Station/Fire Headquarters), all Carlsbad Fire Stations, and various State Park locations. Addresses and details can be found below the schedule of events.

Schedule of Events

The Toy Drive will start at 8:00am and end at 8:00pm! 

Please note: Parking is available inside the State Park for this event! The State Park kiosk will direct cars to assigned parking areas for toy drop off and to go to The Camp Store to participate in the day’s activities and events. Parking is available on a first come, first service basis and is limited. Additional parking at the Cape Rey Carlsbad Resort, In the Rite Aid/Ralphs shopping center, or along Avenida Encinas north of Poinsettia Avenue.

8:00am : Toy Drive Starts: The Camp Store will have free coffee and donuts available for all participants from 8:00am – 10:00am. 

8:00am – 12:00pm: Meet the Carlsbad Police and Fire Departments

12:00pm – 2:00pm: Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus + Live Acoustic Music

2:00pm – 4:00pm: Jet Ski Fun + State Parks Interpretive Discovery Table with exploratory exhibits and crafts + Face Painting

4:00pm – 6:00pm: Live Music with Ginger Roots  

6:20pm – 7:05 PM: “The Sound of Light” Holiday light and music showing #1

7: 15pm – 8:00pm: “The Sound of Light” Holiday light and music showing #2

8:00pm: Toy Drive Ends

FAQ

What kind of toys can we donate? Please bring unwrapped toys that are still in their original packaging. We can not accept stuffed animals or open box toys, thanks for your understanding!

When can I drop off toys? Final Toy drop off is at The Camp Store on December 10th, 2022 from 8:00am – 8:00pm or any of the drop-off locations listed below.

Who is hosting this event? This event is hosted by the Carlsbad Police Department, the Carlsbad Fire Department, California State Parks, State Farm, The Camp Store and Richness of Giving.

Who does this Toy Drive benefit? All physical toys that are collected will be donated to Toys for Tots.
