1. What is The Sound of Light? The Sound of Light is a one-of-a-kind holiday themed light and music show open to the general public. This event if free and open to the public and created in partnership with the amazing Tom Betgeorge and his team at Magical Light Shows.

2. Where is The Sound of Light located?

The Camp Store

Please Note: There is currently no on site parking unless you are camping. Please park at the Rite Aid Shopping Center, on Avenida Encinas, or at Cape Rey.

3. What are the show times and dates?  The Sound of Light will be available 7 days a week from November 19 – January 2. Show times will typically be at 5:00, 6:05, and 7:10. In December we will continue to have live music on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 4:00pm – 6:00pm and then two light shows at 6:15 and 7:20. The Light show will be closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The 7:10 show is the only one where most of the lights will be off and is intended to be the primary show time.

4. Who is hosting this event? This event was created by The Camp Store to bring some holiday cheer to our local Carlsbad community. The Camp Store store and restaurant will be open during the first two light shows, entry will be available from the rear door only for the last show when the black out curtains are up.

5. Is it possible to reserve tables? You can join The Camp Store Club to be eligible to reserve tables on your preferred night. More details are here.
